Deploying EUC Access Point via the Deployment Utility (fling) fails — vLenzker
Some of you might know that VMware finally creates an alternative to the Horizon View Security Server based on a virtual linux appliance. Adding vCenter appliance to Fusion — Network Inferno
Inside the content of the vCenter Server appliance ISO there are the files. Normal process is to use the HTML page and install the VMware Client Integration Plugin. Given that I want to deploy to Fusion this is not going to help me. In the folder ‘vcsa’ there is a file vmware-vcsa. It does not have an extension but in truth it is an ova file. Append the extension .ova to the end of this file so it is vmware-vcsa.ova.

Horizon 7.0 Part 5–SSL Certificates–TheVirtualHorizon
SSL certificates are an important part of all Horizon environments . They’re used to secure communications from client to server as well as between the various servers in the environment. Improperly configured or maintained certificate authorities can bring an environment to it’s knees – if a connection server cannot verify the authenticity of a certificate – such as an expired revocation list from an offline root CA, communications between servers will break down. This also impacts client connectivity – by default, the Horizon client will not connect to Connection Servers, Security Servers, or Access Points unless users change the SSL settings

#VMware Horizon View 7: Instant Clone Desktop Pool [Part 8]
In Part 8 of this Boring series I will be setting up an Instant Clone Desktop Pool. This is one of the coolest features announced of Horizon 7 in my opinion! You may have heard of Project Fargo (aka vmFork) announced during the keynote speech of VMworld 2014. This is the result of that project! Instant Clone gives you the ability to rapidly deploy VMs (children) from a already powered on and running VM (parent). The child clones share the memory and disk of the parent for Reads while Writes are placed in a delta disk. To read more about Instant Clone technology check out this VMware Blog post.
#VMware Horizon Remote Applications Just Got Better
It started a few years back with the release of VMware Horizon 6. VMware had entered the Remote Desktop Services (RDS) game. There were doubters, and many pundits wondered if VMware was really serious about making a dent in the RDS market. Naturally, some competitors made cute marketing videos and labeled the product a nonstarter—among other things. Fast forward two years, and Horizon RDS is now giving our competitors a run for their money.
