http://bit.ly/2gPXJIw The newest approach is the Predictive Method, currently offered only through VMware‘s new Predictive DRS option. Predictive DRS using a combination of DRS and vRealize Operations Manager to predict future demand and determine when and where hot spots will occur. When future hot spots are found, Predictive DRS moves the workloads long before any contention can occur. Even better, this means with the Predictive Method only the required workloads are moved, resulting in minimal overhead.

In the previous blog post, we discussed how the concept of micro-segmentation provides a Zero-Trust security model for Healthcare applications. We also discussed how that model would apply when we talk about security around a Healthcare organization’s EMR/EHR. In this post we’re going to take those concepts and actually apply them to a Healthcare lab environment to show how we functionally achieve this outcome.
Back in 2011 I posted screen shots for using the fat client to download a VM from an ESX/ESXI host to use in VMware Workstation. I never updated that post when Workstation added a download feature, so here is the screen shots for downloading with Workstation 12.5 Pro.
