A few weeks ago, VMware reported solid fourth quarter earnings of $441 million, or $1.04 a share, on revenue of $2.03 billion, up 9 percent from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings were $1.43 a share. CEO Pat Gelsinger said VMware’s fourth quarter was “one of the most balanced quarters for VMware in years.” One of the key contributors to VMware’s success this quarter was VMware’s flagship SDS solution vSAN. This week we were fortunate enough to have Senior VP and GM of the Storage and Availability Business Unit Yanbing LI on to discuss Q4 results and her thoughts on what to expect in FY 2018.
